Govt ramps up centres for pending class 10, 12 board exams to 15,000

The HRD ministry has already announced that students will appear for exams at schools in which they are enrolled rather than external examination centres

Current Affairs : Pending class 10 and 12 board tests will be directed by CBSE at 15,000 focuses the nation over rather than 3,000 focuses arranged before, said Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Monday.

The tests, which were deferred because of an across the nation lockdown forced on March 25 to contain the spread of Covid-19, will presently be held from July 1 to 15.

“The class 10, 12 tests will presently be directed at more than 15,000 test habitats across India. Prior, CBSE was scheduled to hold tests at just 3,000 focuses,” Nishank said.

The choice has been taken to guarantee social separating at test focuses and limit travel for understudies.

The HRD service has just reported that understudies will show up for tests at schools in which they are enlisted instead of outer assessment habitats.

As per home service rules, there will be no test community in Covid-19 regulation zones and states will be liable for making transport courses of action for understudies to arrive at their individual places.
