Adesh Kumar Gupta to be new president of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Delhi unit

Current Affairs : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday declared a couple of changes in the authority of its state units, with Manoj Tiwari being supplanted as the Delhi unit boss, and previous Union priest Vishnudeo Sai assuming control over the reins of the gathering’s Chhattisgarh unit.

Adesh Kumar Gupta is taking over from Tiwari, who had offered to stop after the BJP’s thrashing in the ongoing Delhi Assembly surveys to the Arvind Kejriwal-drove Aam Aadmi Party. Sai, who was Union Minister of State for Steel in the main term of the Narendra Modi-drove focal government, is supplanting Vikram Usendi. In Chhattisgarh, the BJP had neglected to hold power in the 2018 Assembly surveys. The Raman Singh-drove BJP government in the state was trying to shape government for fourth consecutive term.
