Construction resumes after 12,000 get 1st installment in J-K’s Rajouri

Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) scheme, as many as 12,000 people have received the first installment of Rs 50,000 each in Rajouri district for the construction of their houses.

Prior, there were a few people in the area who couldn’t assemble the pucca place of their own, Panchayat official Abdul Khabbir said including, “The requests gave by the Center has given a push to the improvement here.”

 

“At present, the development of 15 houses is in progress. We are planning to change over all the Kaccha houses into the Pucca ones in the following two years,” Khabbir said.

 

Khabbir further educated that the organization has likewise chosen to assembled washrooms with the development of each new house under the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM).

 

Individuals have gotten a measure of Rs 50,000 as the principal portion under the PMAY plot and will get an extra measure of Rs 12,000 under SBM, Khabbir included.

 

Mohammad Razak, one of the recipients in the Rajouri region had a protest of living under covered rooftops, particularly during downpours.

Sarpanch for Dhangri Panchayat Dheeraj Sharma educated that the Jammu area has the greatest objective to assemble the houses.
