Current Affairs:-The Union Cabinet on Wednesday affirmed “The Aadhaar and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2019” to supplant the Aadhaar and Other Laws (Amendment) Ordinance, 2019. The corrections proposed are equivalent to those contained in the Ordinance declared by President Ram Nath Kovind on March 2, 2019. The Bill will be presented in next session of Parliament.
Among others, it takes into account intentional utilization of Aadhaar as a character evidence for opening financial balances just as getting cell phone associations.
