Junior home minister gives data on persons accused of crimes abroad to Rajya Sabha.

Reddy said Interpol’s notice is intended to encourage fast area and capture of an individual abroad and giving the data to the national office or specialist on whose solicitation the notice was issued.
“According to the accessible information, during 2016, 2017, 2018 and up till April 1, 2019, absolute 27 blamed people were removed or ousted from outside nations to India, in view of Red Notice or removal solicitations made by Indian law authorization offices,” he said in a composed answer in the Rajya Sabha.
In 2016, upwards of 36 escapees were captured or found abroad through Interpol channels, 35 criminals in 2017, 24 outlaws in 2018 and 16 escapees till April 1, 2019.
Reddy said during 2016, 2017 and 2018, Red Notice solicitations sent to Interpol by Central Bureau of Investigation were 91, 94 and 123 and notification distributed by Interpol were 87, 84 and 76 individually.
In 2019, up to July 15, 41 Red Notice solicitations have been sent to Interpol and 32 solicitations have been distributed.
The Red Notice may not really prompt the removal of a criminal guilty party for which there is a different lawful procedure to be pursued, Reddy said.
