Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman is set to fly the MiG-21 again within a few weeks as a medical board cleared his return to the fighter cockpit

Current Affairs:-Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, who went through some days in Pakistani authority when his MiG-21 was shot down in a dogfight with PAF planes multi day after the February 26 Balakot airstrike, will probably be given the Vir Chakra on Independence Day, sources said Wednesday.
The 36-year-old IAF pilot had experienced wounds while launching his MiG-21 Bison during the ethereal battle among Indian and Pakistani aviation based armed forces on February 27.
Varthaman, who turned into the substance of a strained military encounter among India and Pakistan, is set to fly MiG-21 inside half a month as a therapeutic load up cleared his arrival to warrior cockpit.
Authority sources said IAF’s Bangaluru-based Institute of Aerospace Medicine has given the thumbs up to Varthaman to fly again following an intensive restorative assessment.
Varthaman was caught by the Pakistani Army on February 27 after his MiG-21 Bison fly was shot down in a dogfight with Pakistani planes during airborne battle.
Before his fly was hit, he brought down a F-16 warrior of Pakistan. Varthaman was discharged the evening of March 1 by Pakistan.
Days after he came back from Pakistan, Varthaman passed on to IAF metal his desire to come back to warrior cockpit at the most punctual.
IAF warrior planes besieged a Jaish-e-Mohammed fear based oppressor preparing camp in Balakot, somewhere inside Pakistan on February 26, almost two weeks after the Pulwama strike.
Pakistan fought back on February 27 by endeavoring to target Indian army bases.
