ISRO performs 2nd lunar-bound orbit maneuver successfully for Chandrayaan-2

All spacecraft parameters are normal, the Bengaluru headquartered space agency said after the maneuver

Current Affairs:-ISRO on Wednesday said it has played out the second lunar headed circle move for Chandrayaan-2 rocket that is presently in the lunar circle for its meeting with the Moon.

All shuttle parameters are ordinary, the Bengaluru headquartered space office said after the move.

“Second Lunar headed circle move for Chandrayaan-2 shuttle was performed effectively today (August 21, 2019) starting at 1250 hrs IST as arranged, utilizing the installed drive framework.

The length of the move was 1228seconds.

The circle accomplished is 118 km x 4412 km,” ISRO said.

The following Lunar bound circle move is planned on August 28, 2019 between 0530 – 0630 hrs IST.
