Officials under Group A and Group B cannot accept any gift without the nod of the government if the value exceeds Rs 5,000
Current Affairs:The Government of India has expanded more than triple the edge of the money related estimation of endowments its workers can get, authorities said on Tuesday. Authorities under Group An and Group B can’t acknowledge any blessing without the gesture of the administration if the worth surpasses Rs 5,000. The farthest point was Rs 1,500. Additionally, Group C workers will have the option to acknowledge blessings esteemed up to Rs 2,000 rather than Rs 500 without taking government endorsement. Government workers under Group An are senior authorities. Those under Group B could be gazetted or non-gazetted.
