The AAI, which goes under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, claims and oversees in excess of 100 air terminals the nation over.
Before this arrangement, Singh was the extra boss secretary (Energy) of Maharashtra government.
He additionally filled in as executive and overseeing chief of Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited and Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited.
“In his new task as the Chairman of the AAI, Singh will lead endeavors to accomplish AAI’s authoritative objectives of giving world-class air terminal foundation, first class offices and driving air route benefits on the planet,” the AAI said in the discharge.
