Gaganyaan mission: Indian astronauts to start training in Russia next week

The Rs 10,000-crore ambitious project is expected to be launched in 2022

Current Affairs:The four space travelers shortlisted for the Gaganyaan venture, India’s originally kept an eye on space crucial, get preparing in Russia for 11 months, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said on Wednesday.

In an announcement, Singh, who is the Minister of State for Atomic Energy and Space, said their preparation in Russia will begin from the third seven day stretch of January.

“Following 11 months of preparing in Russia, the space travelers will get module-explicit preparing in India. In that, they will be prepared in team and administration module structured by Isro, figure out how to work it, work around it and do reenactments,” the announcement read.

The Rs 10,000-crore goal-oriented undertaking is relied upon to be propelled in 2022, the time of the 75th commemoration of India’s Independence.

India’s heaviest dispatch vehicle Bahubali GSLV Mark-III will convey the space explorers to space.
