Soros, who was talking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, said patriotism was making further progress the world over, and the “greatest and most alarming mishap” was in India.
Soros scrutinized rising populism globally and chose US president Donald Trump, China’s Xi Jinping, Modi and Brexit.
He portrayed Trump as a “conman and a definitive narcissist” yet said the present flood in monetary quality for the United States may have come too early for the US chief as he faces re-appointment in the not so distant future.
