CAA subject to disinformation, it will not affect Indian Muslims: Swamy

“I challenge Congress men to banter with me. The focuses they are making (illegal) on TV are all waste,” he stated, including, “For those Indian Muslims living in India as Indian residents, there is no force that Parliament can exercise to expel their citizenship…they are not under danger.”

“CAA is an Act to address our double-crossing of those Hindus, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Parsis who on confirmation remained back (in those nations). The BJP government kept that guarantee. How might you criticize us for keeping a guarantee which was made by Mahatma Gandhi and a few heads a short time later,” Swamy said.

Under the new citizenship law, individuals from Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi and Christian people group who have originated from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan till December 31, 2014, and confronting strict oppression there won’t be treated as illicit workers, and be given Indian citizenship.
