UP govt hints at extending the coronavirus lockdown beyond April 14

State has witnessed spurt in cases due to Tablighi Jamaat

Current Affairs : With the Uttar Pradesh coronavirus positive cases contacting 305 up until this point, the Yogi Adityanath government on Monday implied that the multi day lockdown period could be reached out past April 14.

Awasthi noted on the off chance that the lockdown was lifted rashly, at that point it would nullify the point of the multi day lockdown and fix all the endeavors put in so far to contain the pandemic, in spite of the fact that he included there was no sign of the network spread of coronavirus in UP.

He asserted about 1,600 Tablighi individuals had so far been distinguished in the state, of which more than 1,200 had been isolated. The specialists are finding the remaining Tablighi individuals for screening and isolating. The state has asked them to willfully approach in light of a legitimate concern for their family’s wellbeing.

In the mean time, the administration is growing the system of testing offices for coronavirus from 10 at present to 24 in not so distant future. The state would finance the proposition from the recently comprised UP Covid Care Fund to redesign the different area clinics in 14 regions, including Kannauj, Jalaun, Noida, Greater Noida, Ayodhya, Bahraich, Shahjahanpur, Saharanpur and so forth.
