Current Affairs : To check the threat of phony news during the continuous coronavirus lockdown, the Uttar Pradesh government has put the different web based life stages under the scanner.

“We are making a move based on objections recorded against the internet based life posts,” UP extra boss secretary Awanish Kumar Awasthi said here tonight and cautioned that first data reports (FIR) would be documented in these issues.
He said the Center had just served a notification to TikTok and other online networking stages with the end goal of checking the phony news, particularly during the lockdown time frame.
Recently, he had said various phony news and material coursing on TikTok had coe to light in UP and the administration had been conversing with the TikTok authorities and furthermore the focal government for conceivable activity.
