Covid-19 lockdown: Passenger trains to be back on tracks from Tuesday

Initially 15 set of trains will be started and online bookings for these will begin from 4 pm on Monday

Current Affairs : The Indian Railways will run completely cooled traveler trains from Tuesday (May 12) after about a month and a portion of closing the administration in its 167-year history.

 

At first 15 arrangement of trains will be begun and online appointments for these will start from 4 pm on Monday (May 11) on the site of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), the administration said in an announcement on Sunday.

 

“Indian Railways plans to slowly restart traveler train activities from May 12 with 15 sets of trains (30 return travels),” the legislature said.

 

These extraordinary trains will be run from New Delhi, and associate Dibrugarh, Agartala, Howrah, Patna, Bilaspur, Bhubaneswar, Secunderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Madgaon, Mumbai Central, Ahmedabad, and Jammu Tawi. Admissions will be proportional to that of Rajdhani trains.

 

“Ticket booking counters at railroad stations will stay shut and no counter tickets (counting stage tickets) will be given. Just travelers with substantial affirmed tickets will be permitted to enter stations. It will be obligatory for the travelers to wear face covers and experience screenings at takeoff,” the announcement stated, including that lone the individuals who don’t give any indications of coronavirus malady would be permitted to board.
