Scan to order: Paytm urges state govts to promote contactless food ordering

The company had earlier stated that it aimed to onboard over 100,000 restaurants for the solution in phase one

Current Affairs : Computerized installments major Paytm on Saturday said it has moved toward 10 state governments to advance contactless food requesting and installments, and to make these a piece of the standard working strategies for re-opening feast in cafés and takeaway joints.

In April, Paytm had said it has built up a ‘contactless in-store requesting’ arrangement – ‘Output to Order’ – to support cafés and restaurants limit physical contacts for menu, charging and money exchanges after these organizations open after the lockdown.
