Current Affairs : In the midst of the continuous debate over Yoga master Baba Ramdev’s organization Patanjali Ayurveda presenting “fix” for coronavirus contamination, Rajasthan government on Wednesday explained that this medication can’t be not utilized as a medication in the state without the consent of the Ministry of AYUSH.

Neither has anybody applied to the state government nor has the state government given any consent in such manner, State Health Minister Raghu Sharma said.

He said by the journal notice gave by the Government of India in April this year, under the Drugs and Cosmetic Act 1940 and 1945, no ayurvedic medication can sold as medication for crown disease during COVID-19 pandemic without the endorsement of Union Ministry of AYUSH.
