The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) under the Commerce Ministry in a notification said that send out amount for PPE coveralls for Covid-19 was fixed at 50 lakh for each month according to see dated June 29.

DGFT said all the applications between July 1-3 were inspected and none of them satisfied the measures. ‘All the applications, hence, have been discovered ineligible for allotment of fare standard,” DGFT said.

It has now fixed amended method and standards and exporters welcomed to send new online applications. Fare of just 50 lakh units PPE clinical coveralls for Covid-19 will be permitted each month. Exporters have been approached to apply on the web and no printed copy of the application is required.

For the period of July, online applications for PPE send out according to reexamined measures recorded between July 22-24 will be thought of.

From August onwards, applications recorded between first to third day of every month will be considered for portion of fare amount.

The legitimacy of the fare permit will be for multi month just, DGFT has indicated.
