Current Affairs : Outer Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Friday partook in a virtual meet with his partners from the US, Brazil, Australia, Israel and South Korea, during which the test presented by Covid-19 spread was examined.
Jaishankar said he took an interest in the “helpful” meeting with Marise Payne (Australia’s unfamiliar priest), Kang Kyung-Wha (South Korean FM), Ernesto Araujo (Brazilian FM), Gabi Ashkenazi (Israeli FM), and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
“Proceeded with our discussion on the Corona19 challenge. Continuously great to gain from one another,” Jaishankar tweeted.
The gathering came a day after Jaishankar and Pompeo talked over telephone and examined reciprocal and multilateral participation on issues of universal concern, including endeavors to battle the Covid-19 pandemic and the circumstance in the Indo-Pacific area.
