MEA Spokesperson Anurag Srivastava tweeted, “Vande Bharat Mission crosses the 1 million imprint!”.
“We proceed with our endeavors with the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to bring our nationals home,” he tweeted.
Srivastava additionally labeled Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri’s tweet on Monday expressing that almost one million abandoned Indians have returned through different modes under Vande Bharat Mission and more than 1,30,000 have traveled to different nations.
“Driven by the yearnings of our kin, the mission keeps on encouraging repatriation and outbound travel of abandoned and bothered residents,” he had said.
