The Delhi International Airport Ltd said scheduled flights will operate as normal
Current Affairs : Unscheduled travel flights won’t be permitted to land at the Delhi air terminal for four hours in the first part of the day and three hours at night on Independence Day, its administrator DIAL said Friday.
The Delhi International Airport Ltd said booked flights will work as typical.
As per a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), travel flights can’t land at the Delhi air terminal between 6 AM and 10 AM just as between 4 PM and 7 PM on August 15.
DIAL said the NOTAM is relevant just for contracted (not-planned) flights.
It said there will be no effect of the NOTAM on helicopter activities of the Indian Air Force, Border Security Force and the Indian Army.
The air terminal administrator included that the state-possessed planes and helicopters can fly with the lead representative or the central pastor.
