Delhi HC directs DU to begin final year physical exams from Sept 14

The court told the varsity that it needs to have specific figures on PwD students and the facilities that are to be provided to them

Current Affairs : The Delhi High Court Monday guided Delhi University to begin physical tests for conclusive year college understudies from September 14, and to work out modalities for remain and transportation of incapacitated understudies who had left the national capital during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown.

 

The court requested that the varsity check the quantity of understudies having a place with ‘people with inability’ (PwD) classification who were kept separate from online Open Book Examination (OBE) and would sit for tests truly.

 

“You (DU) should discover where PwD understudies are found. Adequate notification must be given to them to permit them to travel.”

 

Would it be able to be conceivable to permit them to take assessments where they are? By roping in the colleges there?, said a seat of Justices Hima Kohli and Subramonium Prasad.
