The water level in Godavari stream in the sanctuary town of Bhadrachalam (in Bhadradri-Kothagudem region) was streaming over the risk level of 53 feet and remained at 54.90 feet at 1 pm, authorities said.
As indicated by legitimate information, Karakagudem in Bhadradri-Kothagudem region and Venkatapuram in Mulugu locale got (from 8.30 AM on August 20 to 7 AM on August 21) substantial precipitation of 172.8 mm and 127 mm separately.

Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar, who visited the flooding Munneru stream at Khammam, said inhabitants of low lying territories in Khammam and Bhadradri-Kothagudem areas have been moved to more secure places and gave food and others, as indicated by an official delivery.
He guided the authorities to be on caution and proceed with alleviation activities till the rising waters retreated.
In the mean time, help works proceeded in Warangal, where a few zones have been immersed following substantial downpours this week.
