Punjab to collectively move apex court for NEET, JEE exams deferment

Punjab CM Amarinder Singh has asked his Advocate General to coordinate with opposition-ruled states for filing a collective review petition in SC, seeking a deferment of NEET and JEE exams

A mandate on this was given on Wednesday by Congress break boss Sonia Gandhi in a gathering with Chief Ministers of seven restriction governed states.

The Chief Minister told the gathering that even on the issue of the required last term tests for schools and colleges, notwithstanding rehashed requests and updates, the University Grants Commission (UGC) had neglected to take cognisance of his administration’s interests.
