An aggregate of 17 Army work force have kicked the bucket because of torrential slides or snow slides in bumpy zones, including Siachen, in 2019, he said.
“There have been 2,335 occurrences of truce infringement (CFVs) along Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu area since 30 May, 2019 (development of current government) till 20 January, 2020,” the clergyman noted in his composed answer to an inquiry in Rajya Sabha.
“Furthermore, 177 occurrences of cross-outskirt terminating along Indo-Pak International Border in Jammu locale since 30 May, 2019 till 15 January, 2020,” the clergyman included.
Up until this point, there have been eight deadly losses of Army work force since 30 May a year ago, he expressed.
In his composed answer to another inquiry, Naik said there have been six lethal causalities of Army work force in 2019 because of torrential slides or snow slides in Siachen territory.
In other sloping zones, there have been 11 deadly losses of Army work force in 2019 and six lethal setbacks of Army staff between January 1 and January 24 this year because of torrential slides or snow slides, he included.
