John Bumstead, who sells revamped Apple items, said in a Facebook post a month ago that around seven legal advisors and a financial specialist from the FTC talked with him about the arrangement. He made the posting in a gathering of Apple affiliates that griped about being compelled to quit selling their renovated items on Amazon.
