Environmentalist Shravan Kumar Singh said the dust level continues to rise alarmingly in the city

Current Affair:-Earthy people on Sunday asserted that the residue exuding from the drying Yamuna stream is making blemishes on verifiable landmarks and requested plans be made to guarantee least progression of water in the waterway.
Stream Connect Campaign activists held a dissent here against the “vile” state of the Yamuna.
“The dry stream is a danger not exclusively to nature as it raises the SPM (suspended particulate issue) level noticeable all around, yet additionally to the verifiable landmarks along its banks, including the Taj Mahal,” extremist Jyoti Vishal Jha said.
Tree hugger Shravan Kumar Singh said the residue level keeps on rising alarmingly in the city.
“This is on the grounds that there is no water in Yamuna and the residue raised from the waterway bed hits the outside of landmarks, making pits,” he said.
The activists requested desilting of Yamuna for least progression of water in the stream.
