Current Affairs:-As the country watches the twentieth commemoration of the Kargil war, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday shared photos of his visit to the zone during the contention and his collaboration with the warriors.
“During the Kargil War in 1999, I had the chance to go to Kargil and show solidarity with our courageous fighters,” he said on Twitter.
The executive said that in 1999, he was working for the BJP in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
“The visit to Kargil and communications with fighters are remarkable,” Modi said.
In the photos, he is seen communicating with armed force men and meeting injured fighters.
