Elections:Race authorities in Maharashtra have solicited generation houses from two Hindi TV serials blamed for embracing the BJP-drove government’s plans to get ‘politically compelling’ content verified with them before it is broadcast.

The Congress had taken protest to characters in the two TV serials applauding government plans like Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Swacch Bharat Abhiyan and Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana. The two generation houses had accordingly answered to the notice.
