Current Affairs:-President Ram Nath Kovind has proclaimed annulment of the arrangements of Article 370 of the Constitution, which gave extraordinary status to Jammu and Kashmir.
The move came after the two places of Parliament passed a goals in such manner.
“In exercise of the forces presented by provision (3) of Article 370 read with proviso (1) of Article 370 of the Constitution of India, the President, on the proposal of Parliament, is satisfied to pronounce that, as from the sixth August, 2019, all provisos of the said Article 370 will stop to be operative…,” an official warning said.
